These terms apply to everyone who uses RentRooms.com, operated by Whitestone Global (202403262273 (003654423-V)). By creating an account or using the site you agree to them.

What RentRooms does

RentRooms is a listing and viewing platform. We help tenants find rooms and arrange viewings with the agent or landlord of each listing. We are not a party to any tenancy, we do not collect rent or deposits, and no payment is made through the site. Rent, deposit and minimum stay are shown for information and are agreed directly between tenant and agent.

Your account

• Keep your sign-in details private. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
• Give accurate details. Agents rely on your name and mobile number to confirm a viewing.
• We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or puts other users at risk.

Viewings

• A viewing request is sent to the agent, who may accept it, decline it or propose another time.
• Please cancel through the site if your plans change, so the slot goes back to someone else.
• Viewings take place offline between you and the agent. Take the usual care when visiting a property.

For agents and landlords

• List only rooms you are authorised to let, and keep rent, availability and photos accurate.
• Respond to viewing requests promptly and keep your availability up to date.
• A verified badge means we have checked your identity and credentials. It is not a guarantee of any listing.
• Use tenant details only to arrange the viewing and the tenancy that follows.

Content

You keep ownership of the photos and text you upload, and you allow us to display them on RentRooms.com. Do not post anything unlawful, misleading or that you do not have the right to use.

Liability

We work to keep the site accurate and available, but listings are provided by agents and landlords, and we are not liable for their accuracy or for any tenancy arranged through the site, to the extent the law allows.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will show the date of the latest version on this page. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
